Hello everyone!
I am 18 weeks pg and haven't felt much movement, I did feel something a week or so ago but not much since then (it is my second pg).
According to my book I should be feeling movement from about the 16th week for a second+ pregnancy.
How much movement did you feel between the 17th and 19th week??
Thanks!

Its common not to feel much at all at this point. The book is a guideline. Try not to worry too much at this stage

Hi Gracej
Just wanted to join you in the worrying, I am 18 weeks today and I don't think I've felt anything yet.
But I did a seatch on Mumsnet for archive messages, and it seems fairly normal not to feel any definite movement right up to 20 wks, so I am going to wait until then before I start worrying properly!

morning, I'm 19 and 1/2 weeks and only been feeling movement for the last week or so. appaently from 16 weeks the baby is more able to move but that doesn't mean tha you will feel it.
this is my 3rd pg and I felt it earlier with the other 2 so I did worry for a bit. all pg's are different and in 2 weeks time you'll probably be feeking lots.
Take care

Please dont worry. With ds it was around 21 weeks with dd around 19.Think they were jut laid back and couldnt be bothered to move much!!!

Thanks for replying! I will try not to worry. My problem is that DS1 (I didn't feel much movement with him) was indeed born with a neurological problem, so I really might start getting slightly paranoid.
But thanks for the reassurance.

Not much to be honest, this is my second pregnancy too. I think i was about 23 weeks.

Thanks Lucy,
I am feeling SO MUCH better now. I'll just have to wait a few weeks, crossing my fingers that this baby will be kicking big time otherwise I can see myself not sleeping for a few months!.

I'm only 17 weeks and cannot wait until my baby starts to kick just so I can actually start to feel pregs. Even though I've seen the baby in the scan and have heard its heartbeat I REALLY want to actually feel something

I'm 20 weeks with my 2nd and although I felt "something" on one occasion about 4/5 weeks ago I have not felt anything since. I got concerned about it even though dh and my mw said all would be fine. My bump was growing and obviously all seemed ok on the outside. BUT 2 days ago I felt flutter down below and aftre a hour or so of thinking "are they/aren't they" I decided that they definatly were..!

Anyway I have had my scan today and all is fine, in fact I couldn't believe how much baby was moving about on the scan when I couldn't feel a thing lol..!!!

DD was the oppoiste, she was my 1st and I felt movement from around 16 weeks and it was much stronger around 20 weeks. ATM with baby2 it still feels like flutters.

Chill, things should be fine but speak to your mw if you want further reasurrance.
