They are all different, my first section I didn't lose it and assume they dealt with it, 2nd I lost it and went into early labour the day before and the section still went ahead (medical need) and the third I lost plug and waters and had the steroid injection but managed to hold out till they did the section at 37 weeks and sterilized me

Good luck!

My best advice is to get up and moving ASAP and accept all help that is offered so you can rest where you can.

I had an ELCS but I choose and agreed with the consultant that we would wait until I went into labour before the ELCS was carried out. So I lost the plug naturally went into labour naturally and then went in for the ELCS.

I had a really quick recovery and was driving after two and a half weeks, back at the gym in four weeks. Although the first week is a bit uncomfortable, the CS certainly wasn't horribly painful as I was told it would be. I agree with above poster, try and get up and get moving around as soon as possible.

Congratulations Thanks and good luck.

Thankyou, I was just a bit confused what happened to it, I'm petrified about it this time I'm a needlephobe I had an epiural lasttime but I was ok as I was in agony but the thought of going from ok to being numb and them scraping the bone in my spine like they did last time really makes me run for the hills
