Stomach bug, dehydration, pregnancy, sharp abdominal pain

I've picked up a rather nasty stomach bug (thanks for bringing that home from nursery ds) which hit early this morning. Since then both D&V although V is much more prominent and about 30-45 mins between instances.

Can't keep much water down if anything, and that little and stomach acid are all that's coming back. Pee is a strong but not overly dark yellow.

Am I in danger of getting dehydrated and what on earth can I take for it? I'm exactly 13 weeks.

And when rushing for the toilet for my latest effort I got a searing pain down the right side of my abdomen, top about where my csec scar is but extending down. Just over stretching myself or worth checking out?

(I suffered from AND and anxiety last pregnancy so I'm aware my scale is probably off kilter somewhat)

Hi, just wanted to reply as I had an awful incident of gastro enteritis in my third trimester. I would think in the first instance anything you are able to drink will help. Apple juice and ribena where mine. Even if it feels you aren't keeping anything in. Bed rest is important and definitely see your doctor if you are no better and still vomiting, they can give you better advice regarding fluids etc. Get well soon!

I had a really bad D&V with DD 2 (as did DD1 we picked it up at a playgroup I think) . Try to drink. Any fluids (i managed 2 days on dilute oj lollies whilst bfing).
The abdo pain probably is associated. Keep hydrating and rest as you can. If the pain returns phone gp or midwife. But focus on fluids. If you do get seen it will be once the d&v is gone
