After a mc at 5+4 a few months back I'm not sure if I am worrying about nothing, but I am now currently 5+2 pregnant (Yey!) but the only symptoms I have so far experienced are sore breasts and one day of feeling sick. I feel no more tired when I come home than usual (I have a busy job) and don't feel like I have morning sickness, I have to wake up early for work so sometimes feel a bit off anyway.

Now I'm worrying there is going to be something wrong again.

I have just booked an appointment with the dr to see if she can take my blood and check my hcg levels but don't know if I'm going OTT. After what happened last time, I'm not at all sure what to expect but after all the stories about symptoms am finding it v difficult to believe I shouldn't have had any yet. Advice and thoughts please? :)

Pregnancy symptoms are not obligatory - I hardly felt sick at all and didn't automatically feel tired. Different pregnancies will be different.

But I can understand why you might be worrying, given your previous experience.

If it makes you feel better go and see your GP, there's no harm in that.

Some pregnancies have very few symptoms, especially so early on.

My last pregnancy had none at all until about week 10, and my twins were perfectly healthy. My current pregnancy hit me like a tone of bricks from the word go, and at 19 weeks the single baby is growing fine. A pregnancy in the middle had all the same symptoms as this one but ended in miscarriage at 9 weeks.

So IME symptoms have no relationship to either number of babies or outcome of pregnancy. Try not to worry, though I know that's very hard.

Thanks ladies. I do get a hard, bloated tummy in the evenings, not sure if that's a sign?
Happy - I'm sorry to hear about your mc. They're horrible and scary and I never realised they were so common until we started trying.
Just v difficult ATM with so many women at work pregnant and swapping stories and it being too early to mention anything to them!!

My main pregnancy symptoms hit me hard but not until 7 weeks. At 5 weeks I was just a bit crampy and had sore boobs and was a little more tired. Was happily eating Christmas dinner but by early Jan was sick. I think by 5 weeks many people haven't even discovered they are pregnant yet, so the symptoms aren't always strong at that point. And as people have said, you may be a lucky person who doesn't have strong morning sickness etc, it seems to be very varied. Good luck in your pregnancy!

My symptoms hit me at about 7weeks, I'm currently 9+2 wks and feeling like something from the Walking Dead! And looking like it too lol. I'm sure ur just fine Huni. These early weeks r so worrying. Jo x

My symptoms are all over the place. Quite mild but this week (7) they have started to get worse. I didn't get any of the normal symptoms before this week, which panicked the life out of me. There's no point reassuring you, because no body managed that with me! Lol.

I wish you the best, I'm sure it will work out fine. We are just 'special' ! Lol.

I've only been sick three times total and I'm 11+2 now. Think it varies widely from person to person, try not to worry!
