Hi all, my partner & I have been trying for a baby. I came off the depo in January. An started getting regular periods a couple of months later.. I was due for my period on the 1st of this month, have not got it & no sign it is coming. I have taken a couple of pregnancy test one being yesterday but it was negative! So strange!

wait a week and retest. It might be that your dates are a bit out so period is later than normal or that it's too early for the test to show up. If you don't get positive test/period next time then go to the doctor.

Thanks I'll do that. Never usually this late before so just assumed I'd be pregnant. But nope!

Sorry to be there nearer of bad news but it's probably likely that the depo has not yet left your system properly. It took 15 months from the time I stopped the injection to realising that the mini pill I was on wasn't working properly because the depo was still in my system. I may be an extreme case but it really does take a long while to get back to normal. Hope that's not the case for you though.

Hi thanks for that. Yeah I did wonder if the depo was still in my system as I heard it could take awhile to get pregnant. Fingers crossed it is soon though. :)
