Heya folks, just really after a little advice to put my mind at ease so here starteth my noveleth. Started bleeding on Friday on pregnancy week six, bleeding was fairly moderate but was accomnied by some fairly strong lower abdo. cramps. Was told to get my ample behind to AandE which I did. When there they did a pregnancy test which came back negative so that was that, no more tests were done no scan was carried out and no internal examination, just a rather distraught me being sent home. Here's where i get a little puzzled though as I have had no clots, although the bleeding started dark red it only lasted that first initial bleed, it then turned more pink and has only lasted two days it disapeered altogether yesterday and has returned today as a brown discharge and the stomache cramps although uncomfortable never really dot that severe and lasted just 1 1/2 days, could the hospital have been wrong or am i walking around like a dillusional paranoid something or other?!!!

oh dear, maybe you should go and talk to your GP - find out all the possibilities of whats happened to you...

Mc's vary in symptoms. I have experienced x2 and each one was different. Given the fact that the test has come back negative I would take this as confirmation that you have mc...

The fact that you were not far gone at 6 weeks may mean that there wasn't a "lot" to loose iykwim. I am not trying to make this seem a small deal either iykwim. When I mc the 2nd time I was around 7 weeks and to be honest it was similar to your loss. However I had a missed mc at 12 weeks and was given medication to get thing going...the loss was the complete opposite...
Thinking of you xx

Thankyou for your replies, went to GP earlier and she has booked me in for an ultrasound for tomorrow, already know the outcome just been walking around in some sort of denial always thinking of the what if's . I Had not seen the negative result myself so thought about all the maybe's, at least the ultrasound will confirm things then can at least get my head around things.

Be patient and relax. It will happen. It took dh & I 6-9 months to conceive and twice it ended in mc. . We now have a gorgeous dd and I'm 20 weeks with dc2.

Thinking of you....Remember to support each other. This is a hard time atm. xxx
