hi all. i really need some help!
i had a bleeding episode very early this morning. i am 18+6days preggo.
however its strange that the blood seemed to be coming out of the labia and not vagina...im not sure but that's what i think.
it has been three hours it seems normal now i have no pain or anything.
the discharge is back to white-ish colour.
also i actually used a hair removing cream yesterday after which the area got very sensitive andd sore and red. it may have been that i ruptured a vein while washing or sleeping or scratched accidently??
i am also on ascard which the dr. gave me for better blood circulation... maybe the seemingly non stop bleed (i used a good about 7-8 tissues for the deep red coloured blood)came from that? could i be infected? soo confused! what should i dooo?

Why don't you have a look with a mirror? Or call your GP?

Check with a mirror and see your GP. TMI but veins in the private parts can 'bulge' in pregnancy! Maybe you got some irritation over a blood vessel.
Also yes anti coagulant type meds (I am on them) make messy bleeds even from a scratch!

i checked wirh the mirror several times also got DH to check. no clue if bruise or scratch is there.it appears fine. My GP wants to see me today. will update on how it goes...

i went to my Dr. she did a pelvic exam. she found no lesions nor cuts and said it was probably an internal bleed. the doppler gave a veey strong baby's heartbeat phew..
however she has booked me for a scan tomorrow. i also have a low lying anterior placenta (got to know at 15weeks) so she ll have that checked out.
thankyou for your kind replies PresidentSpreadable and squizita im sorry i was really worried yesterday so couldn't respond properly.
the dr. said the bleed has stopped so that is good. however the ultrasound will tell better...otherwise she could think of no other reason for such bleeding...does any one have any clue where else or what other reason could've caused it?
