shooting pains down below!

I'm now 40+2, and looking for any signs labour could be nearby. I had a few braxton hicks with abdominal pain briefly yesterday, since then i have been having occasional shooting pains in my vagina.
Does this mean anything or just wishful thinking? So want baby to come!!

my sister JUST said to me today that "the shooting pain like your vagina is broken" was her first major labour feeling! good luck!
