What's available? TIA

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

on ebay you can buy tests that pick up from 10mi units of hcg. I have always found them the best and have picked up before predictor and then usually confirmed a day or so later with clearblue.

First Response reckon that they can detect preg hormone up to 4 days before your A/F but there is a stat on the back something like "at 4 days before period detected 65%, 3 days 75%, 2 days 85%, 1 day 90%" so its not that accurate if you get a BFN you could still be pregnant. I used one 4 days before, but used early morning "sample" which gave me a BFP.... HTH.

Clearblue are advertising theirs as being able to get a result around 4 days before af is due..

I have always used them with good clear results. BTW the ones that say "Pregnant/Not Pregnant" are the best imo but are expensive.

Another vote for Clearblue. It picked up both my pg's at 3+5. Just make sure you're sure of your cycle.

i picked up some cheap ones from ebay, some from the pound shop, wilkinsons and some brand names, all of which i used before and after my af due date. All showed a positive result

What does AF stand for?? I've just done 7 pregnancy tests that have come out positive (shell shocked now!) and i last had sex 27/8/6 and the doctor said this morning i would've conceived before then as it wouldn't show 16 days later but we hadn't had sex for ages before that so i'm either newly pregnant or a couple of months gone!!! Trying to read this thread but don't understand the abbreviations...

Lolabelle - look up the top of this page at Useful Stuff and then Acronyms - they are all listed there.
