I'm 30 weeks and I've no idea what way my baby is, this is my 1st

From my belly button up there is nothing there, I've poked and prodded and it's just totally soft

Also I feel no movement here ever

All movement is below belly button often at both left and right sides

I also feel it down around bladder area , baby's heart beat is alway found about 1" below belly button to the right side a little bit

When I feel lower belly it just kind all feels hard, I cannot make anything out ie head etc

Anyone got any idea as to where baby might be lying.??

I would say from what you have described baby is transverse as it sounds like our baby until about 32 weeks when baby turned head down. Our baby had it's head on my right, it's feet on my left. I dont remmeber feeling the baby switch positions at the time but looking back after I had been told the baby was head down, I do remember feeling the baby shift very awkwardly!

I've popped two links below I found useful when trying to figure out the baby's position.

Hmmm ok then thanks, I thought that might be how he is sitting , across the way

The MW at a previous appointment had thought the same.

I do hope he moves on time then.
