I'm due 10 August - Less than 4 weeks to go now! And hubby has even said, he thinks the baby will come in 2 weeks time as I am getting a lot of sharp achey, yacky pains down below.

And I've gone and got myself a cold and feel like rubbish, and I hurt everywhere....

I wish I had decided to finish work earlier too - I'm finishing on Thurs 7 August. But then Im glad I have decided to work til right before because I'd only be sat at home doing nothing.

ARGH! I can't deal with this uncertainty.... Each twinge etc makes me think, is this it... What if I didnt know it was happening? Will I definitely know what it happens.... ARGH!

aww you poor thing summer colds are the worst!!! I'm due 16 August....wish I could relax to as every twinge I thinking is this it!!! having a sweep done at 38 weeks to try and bring Labour forward as this baby is apparently a big lad!!! so fingers crossed that works..although never had a sweep before so a bit nervous!! xx

This is our first so Im a bit in the dark and getting a bit scared truth be told incase I just don't know. Wish in some ways we were havibng some kind of intervention, like a sweep, so at last I would have something to "look forward to" but nope.

it is the not knowing that gets ya!! it probably be the moment your actually not thinking about it and preoccupied with something else it will happen!! this one is my third, but every Labour starts different...well they have for me....Grin

I keep getting back aches, period type pains, etc etc and think oooh is this is (even though I'm only 36 weeks) and I read somewhere that if you have to ask is this it, then it probably isnt. I have enjoyed my pregnancy and will miss when I'[m not pregnant but I just want this baby to hurry up now so we can meet him/her!

I'm due on 8th August and also feel ready to have this baby now!

On twice weekly monitoring because of my blood pressure going up and down and still have 9 days of work left.

I am going for a VBAC but have had an extra scan and am told the baby is already 8 lbs so really don't want to go all the way to 40 weeks when the baby will be 9 or 10 lbs!!!

I'm due 15th August and just started mat leave, horrah! I've felt totally fine until the last few days and feel like I've hit a bit of a wall. Very tired, developed carpal tunnel and thinking this baby ain't going anywhere soon!

mrsnlw · 14/07/2014 12:07

OH I'm glad I'm not the only one due soon! Lairy I've no idea what size our baby is... My friend who is a MW said she thinks no more than 8.5lbs... I hope not!Confused

Heather I don't start my maternity leave until 7 August as I wanted to use as little time at home before the baby comes as possible... I actually get more rest being at work - At home there's always something to do and once I get an idea in my head, that's it... I have to do it!
