Ive got leaky boobs, but on one breast Ive been getting a small amount of bright red blood mixed in with the 'milk'. I cant feel any lumps in my breast or nipple. 34 week pregnant.

I had this for a few days then it cleared up. Mentioned it to consultant obs, but he didnt seem too worried. He refered me to the breast clinic, but Ive not had nythign through.

I can see a very slight crack in my nipple, but nothing obvious, and the blood seems to be coming from where i cant see it, not on the surface.

Help?

boobies are funny things. mine didnt leak at all during pregnancy, so I can't help very much. When I started feeding tho, I am sure I saw a few drops. I would def. get checked

As for crack,,nips change a great deal to get ready to suckle a baby, but again, I have no idea so get it checked. docs surgery should have a mw available for you, honestly they have seen it all before so nothing to worry about.

ps. I have dd 12 week old and a lot more crazy weird things are going to happen to your bod lol!!!

This pregnancy has been so different to my first! I didnt have leqasky boobs with my first pregnancy, this time its a definate issue..

Im going to get to the GP as soon as possible and see what he has to say. I think it is a small crack in my nipple which is bleeding, prob for too much lying on my left side, crushed it or something! I can never get comfy!

Fingers crossed it is something just mundane.

Thanks
