Is it strange to have a scan booked for a Sunday?

I've got my 12 week scan booked for next Sunday, 20th, first thing in the morning.

Has anyone else had weekend appointments? Or should I call and double check it's correct?!

they are probably on a waiting list initiative and having to work extra sessions to fit every one in: no harm in checking though as it is not normal office hours.

It is a hospital with a big catchment area. We're 12 miles away and it's our closest place that does scans! It's also a teaching hospital which may have something to do with it...

Mine was booked for a Saturday.

I had an extra one at 34 weeks at 8pm. They routinely work until then at our hospital to get everyone done. Don't know if they do weekends but wouldn't be surprised.

On the plus side, parking is likely to be much quieter at a weekend!
