Nausea returning in 3rd trimester

Has anyone else experienced this? I had terrible nausea in the 1st trimester, no actual sickness but felt awful. I'm 30weeks now and it seems to be coming back a bit, in the late afternoon/evenings (which is when I had it during 1st trimester too, no "morning" sickness for me!)

Wondering if I might have it till the baby arrives now, or if it's just a passing phase, perhaps due to tiredness (I do feel like I need to slow down a bit now, but not really possible with 2 small boys to run around after!)

My nausea returned (and stayed, sorry) in my 3rd trimester. I found it was worse if I hadn't had enough water.

That's a good tip magpie, although I drink quite a lot, I do think I've perhaps not been having enough the past few days when I've been getting this nausea. Will make an extra effort to drink more from tomorrow!

I chucked my guts up until about 22 weeks and it returned at 30 weeks. Still throwing up at almost 39 weeks :-(

Hope you feel better soon

yep, I had terrible constant nausea, no vomitting until week 9, then intermittent until about week 18, now it's returned at 28 weeks or so - mostly in mornings. Nowhere near as bad as it was in first trimester though, more of a queasy feeling.

Oh you sound like you have it much worse than me SouthDerbyshireMamma Hmm Hope it eases for you. Not long to go at least!

Same here missingcaffeine, it's milder than 1st trimester but has taken me right back to those early days when I'd feel at my worst for the afternoon school run but couldn't tell anyone! At least now I can have a moan to all and sundry Grin
