just a little pop quiz as am intrigued about baby's lie. I know she is cephalic, but I always feel her hiccuping very very low (i.e. almost under bump) on the left, anyone know what this means with regard to her lie?
I'm sure bum is top right...

My baby's hiccups can be felt low left, he has always been head down, bum high on left, with feet on my right side. So baby's in an upside down 'L' shape if that makes any sense

thanks misspilly, fascinating isn't it?! have been looking on spinning babies website but positions don't seem to match where I can feel lumps and bumps / pokey feelings and hiccups, just seriously hoping she's not back to back

how do you know its hiccups

flymo79 · 10/07/2014 08:34

because it's that rhythmical spasm-type movement, lasts maybe a minute or so. definitely feels like baby has hiccups
