I think I lost my mucus plug at 33 weeks

As title says- I'm pretty sure I've just lost my mucus plug. It was jelly like and had streaks of blood on it. Is this normal or should I phone someone?

You can lose it and it can regenerate so I don't think it's anything to worry about on it's own. Obviously if you start having contractions or your waters break, contact the labour ward.

You can also start losing bits here and there for weeks before. Keep an eye on things, but don't worry too much.

I think it's ok. But I might refrain from sex, incase you introduce any bacteria which could possibly cause infection. That's just my opinion tho. I'm no medical expert!
