Hi ladies, I am 30 weeks today and weighed meself this morning. I have only put on about 9 pounds since the beginning of my pregnancy. I haven't been restricting myself particulaly but I haven't had an increased appetite either. Looking online at average weight gain by this point, I am way below so I'm a bit worried. Is it likely I'll put on loads of weight in the last 10 weeks? Baby has been measuring fine at all my appointments, is moving alot and my midwife has never really commented so I assume I shouldn't really worry....just wondered if anyone else had this?

thanks

I wouldn't worry. By the time I gave birth to my daughter I weighed the same as when I found out I was pregnant.
Lost some weight during first 16 weeks then put it back on but never went above my original weight.
She was 6days late and 7lb 2and a half oz

I'm the same, looked at some chart and I'm way below my projected weight gain.
As long as you're eating healthily and not trying to diet I think baby will get what it needs. I've had to make myself have an extra item through the day, or a bowl of fruit as a snack. Good luck with all the "Oh you're so small, you're not showing yet" comments.... :-(

I only put on 4lbs. Baby arrived healthy and has thrived since.

I'm similar, 29 and a bit weeks gone and only put on around half a stone. However that is all bump and boobs, and the bump has measured spot on every midwife check.

My arms and legs are a bit skinnier than when I got pregnant so I assume the bump is taking priority while the rest of me wastes away! I also had a bit of a podgy tummy before and now it is very firm, can't pinch an inch any longer.

I am definitely not dieting and have been eating lots of cake so I don't think you can control it really. I'm just enjoying it as it's probably the only time in my life I'll get to eat whatever I like and not put on loads of weight like I do normally!
