Hello

I am 33 weeks pregnant and haven't been offered my whooping cough jab yet. Should I chase this now or wait till my 36 week check to request it.

I had to book in for it myself. My midwife asked me why I hadn't had it yet and said I needed to ring my doctors and book in for it. I had mine done at 35 weeks so it might be worth phoning your gp surgery to see what they say

I booked it myself aswell, midwife told me about it at some stage in pregnancy, and when I was far enough along I phoned my gp n booked in for it with the nurse, so personally I'd jus phone ur gp and ask if u can book in for it there

My midwife reminded me at my 25 week appointment that I could book it from 28 weeks and suggested I booked it on the same day as my 28 week midwife check, so that's what I did.

That was just her reminding me though, I had to call the GP surgery separately to book the thing. She'll probably just tell you to call the GP if you wait till 36 weeks so I think you should just call them now.

I was told on Thursday by my midwife to book it myself between 28 and 38 weeks. Just make an appointment for it at your GP surgery.

Yes, you need to book it yourself at your GP surgery.

Ring your GP because at mine the nurse doing them only comes every 3 or 4 weeks so you don't want to miss it!

I got mine done during my GP's apt this morning - it was during a routine antenatal check and took a few moments.
