I'm feeling pretty rough again :( blocked nose, sore throat, cough etc, after vomiting tonight I've had a bad nose bleed (bright red) am I right in thinking they are more common in pregnacy?

Also had blood coming from my throat, been to the doctors prescribed antibiotics again but he said he's not sure if its viral or bacterial.

I am constantly ill this pregnancy had enough :(

I am sorry this won't be much help but I had a random nosebleed in the shower 2 weeks ago. I put it down to pregnancy and heard it was very common. Sorry you are having a rough time. I empathise, I am having some very insignificant health things that are not serious but making me fed up. My last pregnancy was so easy..good luck with the rest of it and hope you feel better soon.

Yes they are. I suffered from them in all my 3 pregnancies.
It is due to the pregnancy hormones.

Just keep tissues handy. I had one on a packed commuter train, wearing a white top and had run out of tissues! A passenger gave me sone, but not before my top got splattered.

Hope you get better soon, no fun at all being ill when pregnant!

Yep I get them a lot especially in the morning and have done for last 5-6 weeks (am 39+4) also get bleeding gums. Apparently we just produce more blood when pregnant!

I've not had nose bleeds, but my nose has bled with colds/hayfever whereas it normally wouldn't.

I had 3 nosebleeds in my first pregnancy despite never having one before in my life. I've not had another since either fortunately.

I had nosebleeds really badly up until about week 26, and bloody gums. Seems to have settled at the moment. My ObGyn also told me it's pretty common.
