I'm nearly 33 weeks pregnant with a tiny bump its measuring right dates but if she's right size then where am I hiding her, I fit in my normal clothes some a size up but really dnt feel different to when I wasn't pregnant. I'm over weight but feel smaller than I did with ds. Am I just lucky or is she small and I should panic. Mw has said she's didfy and dainty but really is she that tiny

I have small babies to, with my second I was tiny and just brought normal size 10 jeans so only went up one size and didn't need maternity, she arrived overdue at 5bls 8oz!

Again this time I'm quite small I'm 29 weeks measuring 2/3 behind and pretty much still able to fit into all my pre pregnancy clothes, still wearing my size 8 denim shorts with just top button undone!

You probably have less fluid rather than less baby. I was HUGE but dd was tiny.

One friend if mine was so small her neigh ours didn't even notice she was pregnant until she came home with the baby. Nothing wrong, just a naturally small bump.

Some women hardly show, even in second or third pregnancies after showing a lot the first time.

There's a whole show about women not realizing they were pregnant until delivery; they didn't have noticeable bumps, even those who'd been pregnant before.

You're measuring correctly, there's nothing to worry about. She might come out dainty, but no reason to fear any issues if you're being told everything is normal.

If your midwife is content that all is well I would trust her experience and enjoy not feeling cumbersome! Though any departure from the "average" and we do automatically worry, don't we? My bump was not just compact but consistently small for dates - however, precautionary growth scans showed a well grown baby and plenty of fluid, and he was born at term weighing a healthy 8 lb 8 oz, so small bump doesn't necessarily mean petite baby. (And our neighbours hadn't noticed I was pregnant either :-) )

People 'want' to see a big bump but it's not at all uncommon to have a small one, and nothing wrong! If the measurements are correct there's no problem. At my NCT there was a huge variation in bump size round the room and we were all similar dates...

I've had some unhelpful comments from people (I carry neat, out front) but my baby is actually rather big. Not dainty but "chubby" they are saying!

I had to have a growth scan as my bump is a bit small (you can't tell I'm pregnant from behind!). Turns out the baby is actually on the slightly big side.

Thankyou I have a scan next week so hoping I get the ok m midwife says she will bebwteen 6lb2 - 7lb 2 I hardly had any fluid with ds it was all baby and he is still tall for age, I know that its still possible for her to turn but she seems everywhere still and not stuck!

I am 34 weeks and hardly show. Has it's advantages but sometimes I hope I would show more so that people would be more mindful. I have a growth scan tomorrow.....last time baby was on 90th centile! I am doing a good job hiding my baby too!
