I've been to the EPU at my hospital today with bleeding. This has been going on since Wednesday and it's now red. I had a scan and they can see a gestational sac however it's near my cervix which they said isn't good. I'm only 5 weeks today so they couldn't tell me if it was a viable pregnancy anyway and have booked me in for another ultrasound on Friday? The doctor said my cervix was closed and it could be cervial erosion that's causing the bleeding.
Has anyone had a low lying gestational sac and going on to have a baby? I'm so scared and it's horrible being left in limbo although I appreciate there is nothing the hospital can do. It's going to be a long week.
