8weeks and brown blood, help!

I have been having brownish pink blood when I wipe since yesterday afternoon and small amounts on a pantyliner. I'm 8 weeks with my 3rd baby and have never experienced this before. Should I be worried?

I had this in two pregnancies around the time I would have had a period. Both babies were fine. Brown blood should be fine but if it changes to red or gets heavy you may need a check.

Hi I had this with my first pregnancy and it lasted about 3 days around 5 weeks. I also had some at 19 weeks and went on to have a healthy daughter. If it gets heavier and turns red with any cramping contact your EPU. Hope all goes well.

Thank you for your replies. I feel a bit reassured and will wait and see what it's like tomorrow. I don't want to bother anyone if it's not serious.

Brown is good as means the blood is older and not fresh if that makes sense and isn't tmi. You can still go to an early pregnancy unit at 8 weeks and get checked out if you feel you want to but I had this several times at the start of my first pregnancy (mistook the first couple of times for my period incidentally (!) ) and all was fine. Take card of yourself, I'm sure all is ok.

So the brown blood turned to bright red with clots today accompanied by cramps. I've spent 4 hours in hospital and they have said it is a threatened miscarriage but I am not actively bleeding and my cervix is closed. I have a scan booked for 9am but am terrified. I'm also confused as to where the blood is coming from and how it is not active bleeding when I am passing blood? :-(

I had a red bleed at 8/9 weeks- I was in the Maldives too so there was nothing I Gould do Except sit tight. I had a scan as soon as I got back to the uk and all was Fine. No cause was found for the bleed. I ve had dome bits of brown spotting since and again, no cause. It may be nothing. Some of us just bleed a bit I think.
