Have been up all night with what I suspect to be food poisoning. Feel horrendous today. Just concerned as have read about seriousness of listeria when pregnant and now really worried. Call gp? Midwife? Thanks.

I feel your pain, I was up all night on Sunday with terrible sickness and diarrhoea. We contacted NHS Direct for advice. Initially we're told a GP would come out, then that I should go to hospital. In the end they just said see his you go and must importantly keep hydrated. Try dioralyte.

Saw midwife yesterday and she said ANY problems when pregnant, just phone the triage number or number for labour ward and they will advise. Maybe try this first or go and see your GP. Everyone repeatedly said that the baby would be fine, the only problem is the dehydration do just keep sipping. I hope you feel better soon.

Has the vomiting stopped? If you are feeling even slightly better then it's unlikely to be serious as whatever it was that was making you sick has now left your system.

Give the midwife a quick call just to be sure.

I've stopped being sick but still feel horrendous.
Just worrying about baby. Seems quieter today, not sure if that's just what happens after sickness?
