Online antenatal classes

Has anyone done or heard recommended any online antenatal classes? What's offered in my area is limited and DH isn't going to be able to make them due to work commitments. We can't afford the NCT course ATM and have been advised that the content on our local one is very poor!

Just wondering if anyone has done an online course they thought was helpful? Thanks :)

Can't say that I've ever heard of online antenatal classes but you can get significant discounts off of NCT classes depending on your income if that would make a difference:

"Reductions of 90% available for Under 18s, students (under 22 years of age), parents receiving income support, income-based job seekers allowance, council tax benefit, housing benefit, employment and support allowance or working tax credit and parents with a yearly household income of less than £15,000. Reductions of between 10% and 90% available for parents with a yearly household income of £15,000 - £25,000 (level depends on your household income)."

I know there is a company called 'antenatal online' that do this but I don't have any direct experience of them. Not sure mine were that useful (NCT) so don't feel you are missing out. I think Daisy birthing do a combined pregnancy yoga/ antenatal class which is mums only and a lot cheaper than NCT if you want to meet people....
Mumsnet is probably more informative!

I went to my first NCT class last night - it was the second one in the course, but we both missed last week. It didn't teach me anything that I haven't managed to read online - not in a formal 'course' type way, but through reading stuff on here, reading the Bounty websites and NHS websites. We're going to keep going to them, just see if there is someone there I hit it off with socially, but in terms of information.. meh. I couldn't however believe how little some of the others knew.
