A very random question about sex drive

Having been umming & ahhing weather to post this or not but fuck it!

Currently 25 weeks pregnant with DC2 & my sex drive is through the roof! I feel so much more attractive, everything feels more sensitive & am just generally easier to please Wink

My question is, evolutionary speaking, why would this be? As far as i am aware most mammels don't have sex from when they get pregnant until they are ready to get pregnant again!

I am thinking it might be my body's way of keeping the man around to a)ensure he doesn't impregnate anyone else & b)provide for the offspring once its born. Thoughts?

Also as a side question, my sex drive is usually pretty low, is there a way i can keep it like this afterwards apart from getting pregnant again?!

it might havw somw sort of evolutionary basis but its probably just lovely hormones, oxytocin, extra blood flow, and maybe you're just happy and relaxed and confident now.

Enjoy it,

Well. If love is a two year chemical afdiction. Having satisfactory sex gives you an incentive to keep them around if that's worn out! Which a. Increases people providing food to an(y) infant and b. Increases the likelihood of future offspring?

(not sure how much weight i give the addiction idea).

I think the main evolutionary purpose is to convince dad he is the dad as you've been having so much with him you won't have had time to get pregnant with anyone else. Apparently this is also why newborns tend to look more like dad than mum as mum doesn't need any more proof that the baby is hers.

I got this with my first pregnancy (a girl) but with my current pregnancy (boy) I'm 35 weeks and no sign. Feel fat, frumpy and want to hide from DH in case he gets a good look and realises how gross I am. Sex life is non-existent ATM. My first pregnancy was 13 years ago and I'd just broken up with my boyfriend before the horniness kicked in.

This time I have a willing and loving partner but no desire. Typical huh?

But as to why it happens I'm think thinking maybe hormones due to the gender?

It happened to me last time too & i had a boy! Sorry you are feeling that way No, if your partner loves you like you say he will still think your sexy!
