Hi I have been pretty irregular and it seems my periods have been 34-38 days and this time its 40 days today and no period can I be pregnant? I have been having cramps once in a while felt bloated two days ago and very tired fatigue and now sometimes cramps once in a while and was wondering If I can be pregnant did a test 3 or 4 days ago came out negative ... any ideas of my possibilities of being pregnant?

Without testing its impossible to say. The test could have been a false negative or too soon given your long cycles. I'd test again first thing in the morning and try not to drink too much today as it can dilute the HCG.

I've never had regular periods except on the combined pill and my longest cycle was about 45 days so it could just be a longer than normal cycle.

Do the test an if its negative then book in to see your GP as they can do a blood test or refer for a scan if they feel its needed, or tell you to test again/go back in a week or two.
