Because you are constipated. Your bowel is probably cramping to try and move it along.

I get this too! At first I really panicked because it first happened at 34wks (this week) and I thought it was somehow related to labour!! Can you tell I'm a first-time mum?!?! I am finding that sipping warm water or warm peppermint tea is really helping.

gamerchick · 03/07/2014 11:51

Yes your bowel is working extra hard to move it's load because you're constipated.

I've had this and thought constipation all though just found out have a urinary infection. May be worth getting checked just incase.

Yup. Like period pains, and sweats sometime too. Then all fine after been to the loo.

Like others said think it's a sign of constipation/bowels working harder than normal.
