can feel babys head !!

im 36 weeks tomorrow. Last night i asked my partner to have a look down below as i felt/feel very swollen. when i go to the bathroom and wipe it felt like i had a prolapse. sex is out of the question with how swollen and sore i am. but any way you could feel his head if you cupped my vagina or touched the outside if that makes sense (Didnt put his fingers in or anything) but it was like i had a ball there and it was half in me and half sticking out. iv been getting painful sharp pains, even from when his moving. im seeing the midwife friday. when i last seen her i was 34 weeks and he was engaged. im so uncomfortable. I also lost my plug at 31 weeks. but it has come back and think iv been loosing bits of it again over the past week.
Does anyone think he could come early?

It sounds to me like baby is already on the way? Perhaps call the delivery unit and see what they say. Good luck!

I would see if your midwife can come out and see you.

I had DD at 36 weeks and she was fine, though they had to monitor me throughout my labour and had a team standing by in case she needed to go for more help in SCBU.

Phoned up the labour ward and was told to paracetamol if the pains dont go in a few hours to phone back. Took two and went for a walk and it only to the edge of a teeny bit, going to phone back say that iv still got the pains and hopefully they will check me over. hoping his on his way, not liking the fact i could be like this for the next 4 weeks :( thanks everyone x

I had this, I was so swollen I actually though I had some awful prolapse to! I was around 40 weeks at the time, it almost felt like there was the baby's arm poking out down there or something, I went to see my doc who took a look and said they could see babies head and that baby was very low and ready to come! I actually went another while week before dd arrived after a 12 Minute labour, so please be careful and get check out, any signs of labour and get yourself straight to hospital

Definetly get in and get a once over. They do like to try and delay you going in but you dont want to be in a situation where you cant even sit down in the car
