OK so my question isn't as enticing as the title suggests...
Basically I work in retail... on my feet for 9 hours a day and need some comfy, black shoes that I can wear with a skirt / dresses... Would prefer not to wear granny shoes but also comfort and not getting a bad back are top of my agenda!!
Have looked at Clarks / Hotter but they are a bit pricey... unless someone swears by them?? Have though of M&S as well but in the past I've had achey backs with their pumps...

Hoping you can help.... xx

I have some preggers friendly loafers from hush puppies. I swear they are the comfiest shoes I have ever owned, butter soft leather and cushioned soles.

So worth the money even if my friends find my "mum shoes" hilarious

Have you tried the M&S Footglove range? I wasn't pregnant at the time, but when I was waitressing I swore by them. Not trendy or owt, but not terribly ugly either!!

LePetitPont thank you thank you!! That's an awesome call... and they have a sale so I have ordered me a pair :) Definitely put "mum shoes" over a bad back!

Doje yep it was footglove shoes that gave me terrible back pain last summer... they look so comfy but not for me :(

With this heat I've got a few pairs if nice girly sandals as they only go round your ankles and can be made bigger if feet swell

Next Sole Reviver are the pumps I wear if it's not 'boots or Birks' weather - I'm a teacher, so on my feet all day too.
