Indulged in a maccies earlier today and about an hour later I honest-to-god thought I was dying! Was on the phone to mil and had to hang up as I could barely breathe let alone speak!
Glugged some gaviscon and eventually it eased. Wow it was painful!
Anyone else get it this bad? I was doubled over!
I'm 16 weeks now and with other 2 pregnancies I've experienced this much later on. Rest assured this won't put me off maccies... :)

I had the worst heart burn after a curry. It was like a burning lump of coal in my chest and i felt terrible. Wanted to sit with my gaviscon and a straw in the bottle!!! Still eating curry, just avoiding the overly spicy ones until the time comes!! Grin

I am 27 weeks now and have suffered from heartburn constantly for at least the last 3 months or so. its hideous! The worst attack was when it woke me up in the middle of the night - I felt like I was choking on acid.

CoolCat2014 · 01/07/2014 20:15

Yep... I got it early in second trimester, then it suddenly vanished, and came back last week :(

The bottle of gaviscon is my new BFF! Was hoping I'd escape it this time but alas, no. Ugh!

Loveallmyboys · 01/07/2014 21:45

I grew quite find of it with ds2. Almost craved it! It's not the nicest consistency or taste but by Jove it's good shizzle!

I'm coming up to 9 weeks and it has been dreadful! Got to the point now where I think I'm going to be sick from the indigestion! Apparently it's a sign of a healthy (and hairy) baby!

Loveallmyboys · 02/07/2014 16:24

Yes I remember the hairy myth. We'll see hey!x
