Question about scar after a c section

I don't know if I'm one of the lucky ones but I had an easy c section if they exist. I was up and on my feet as soon as the epidural wore off, I just couldn't sit up or lie down very well, put my shoes on or cough! LOL but other than that everything was fine! I had little to no bleeding afterwards (although I did have a bit of a funky smell for a week or two) and my scar is almost invisible. Really good work was done on my stitches! I still can't believe how neat my scar is. And let me tell you after googling scars I was a bit nervous!
Anyway, my point of this thread is because apart from all of the above, ever since the day I had it done I had a tiny little bump 2 3rd's the way into the scar. I didn't think much of it at first, but now my scar is white in colour and this little bump isn't. Could it be an ingrowing hair? It is a bit purple in colour, but as embarrassing as it is to say this I can't 'get' there to look at it properly. haha. My stomach restricts me! Even with the mirror good god!
What does an ingrowing hair look like and is it like what I have described?

and if it is with it being on scar tissue do I ask the doc to pull it out? Or can I just do it myself? I just don't want to end up with a hole or something I think I would pass out rofll

It's possible. It's also a possibility that it's an internal deep tension suture that for some reason or another didn't dissolve as expected. The body has a way of kicking foreign bodies out and more often than not in this situation it will simply work it's way out. As long as it's not hurting you, bright red/inflamed or hot it's nothing to worry about. However, that said it is obviously bugging you and so next time you see the GP /midwife/any health professional, get them to have a look at it, but I wouldn't say you need to make an appointment especially for that. I had a bit in my scar after my 3rd section which sounds like the bump you describe. I messed with it a bit with tweezers Blush and it turned out to be an ingrown hair which I was able to yank out. Could your partner look at it closely?
