OT a bit - duvets!

In a misdirected burst of nesting I've chucked our feather summer duvet in the washing machine. Can you even do this?! Have a made a huge mistake?! Waaah!

Yes and no.

You can wash feather duvets and pillows in the washing machine as normal. However they are a total bastard to get dry, as any moisture left inside will make them go mouldy. Get it out in the sun ASAP and then I'd probably stick in in the dryer for a bit to make totally sure.

I got mine done down the launderette as we don't have a dryer and we live in Scotland so it's only sunny for about 10 mins Wink
