Hi all, just thought i'd to see if anyone can help?
I am almost 12 weeks pregnant, have my first scan booked for Friday.
I have suffered with all-day nausea since week 6. I haven't physically been sick until last week, and really bad again yesterday. I've felt like death all weekend and it seems to be getting worse (especially in the evenings)
Also thought I'd mention that I can't face anything savoury at the mo!
If anyone can tell me that it'll get easier it might stop me from feeling so bad. Thanks, Hayley

It's different for everybody, there no rule on when it will end or begin!

However it seems most common for it to get better between week 12-14 x

Fingers crossed you'll be lucky xxxx

Ginger biscuits, or dry toast. Should pass soon. Good luck!

Thanks both Smile
For 6 weeks people have been telling me it'll get easier at 12 weeks, and now the 12 week mark is approaching, they're saying upto 16 Hmm lol
I'm trying to take the view of "it's a pregnancy, not an illness", but it's so hard when you constantly feel ill isn't it! Confused

I started with it at 6 weeks
Just feeling sick at first then a week later it hit me
I felt the same as you untill about 13 weeks - I also had anti sickness tablets from the doctors ! After 13 weeks instead of being sick about 8 times a day and wretching all the time I am now sick about 1-2 times a day and feel much better !
The sickness doesn't really bother me now as I generally feel miles better in myself ... So just incase yours doesn't go I do think the crappy run down illness feelings do dissapear!
I'm now 18+5 and take snacks EVERYWHERE and ice pops are a god send.
I

Hayley, have you tried the anti sickness travel bands. They worked like a charm for me although I was not as sick as you seem to be. Hope it gets better soonSmile Smile

Still stick at 15 weeks - started just before 6! Not as constantly sick as I was originally but seem to get more days when I'm really bad than I did before. Was on tablets for a while but stopped them at 12. Back to doctor this week for bloods. Other than 2 days last week where I felt relatively good, I'm yet to experience 'blooming'!!

I have tried the anti sickness bands but the feel of the little plastic ball on my veins made me feel sick. I'm actually struggling to remember what it's like to not feel poorly Sad
hopefully seeing the baby on the screen on Friday will lift my mood.
has anyone else found that they can't stomach savoury foods? x
