Hi all, I've been hit big time with night time nausea, I haven't been sick but I feel it and I start heaving. I've also been having this kind of feeling like I've got acid in my chest, as though I've drank a bottle of dizzy drink too quick, I've never experienced this before does anybody know of anyway to calm the nausea or the acidy grumble in my chest lol.

Hi Lozzy, I suffer from night time nausea too on and off. I've found that by eating something bland as soon as it starts and then eating just before bed it is a bit better. The feeling in your chest, could it be heartburn? Maybe just some gaviscon?

HTH

I had horrible night time nausea both this and last time. Nothing really worked for me apart from not moving an inch, trying to cool down as had normally got hot and waiting it out for a good 3+ hours.

Heartburn last time helped by downing a ton if gaviscon (and finally getting a prescription for omeprazole which was like a wonder drug), sleeping upright and not eating for a while before bed although to be fair I was having evening nausea as well so eating was normally fairly low on the agenda

Half a teaspoon of bicarb of soda in a tiny glass of water...tastes gross but really helps...or buy some soda water which tastes better and seems to neutralise the acid.
