Advice on lower back pain? :-(

My low back really hurts when I stand or walk for longer than a few minutes. Started yesterday and was wondering what causes it? I'm 33 weeks so could it be the way the baby is laying maybe? I'm dreading work tomorrow if it continues because I'm a Reception teacher so spend a lot of time on my feet. Any tips for dealing with it??

Go and see an osteopath/physio if you can afford it or get referred, my lower back got overtaxed during pg and siezed up after 6 months of carrying dd, especially if also considering bf. get decent professional help now, it may go away after pg or it may get worse.

I've found walking through the water in the swimming pool, bouncing on birthing ball, and doing angry cat happy cat stretches on all fours has helped me, but not quite as far along as you yet (30wks), but if it's really bad seeing a physio might help!

Think I will try those stretches. Have been meaning to get a gym ball for a while but not got round to it yet because we haven't got a pump. Think I'll get one this week though and see if that helps.

Have just also had some period type pain that lasted for maybe 15 minutes, until I had a warm bath. Is this normal??
