Just thought I'd share a particularly entertaining evening where I (currently 30 weeks) popped out for a few hours tonight for a friends birthday and the incredible amount of double takes and open staring was hilarious! Who knew we were allowed out after dark haha a!! It was tempting to fake a few contractions to see what people did hehe!! Would love to hear anyone else's night out stories! Now to bed methinks!!

Haha, we also went out for dinner (rather grumpy) at 40+4. My waters broke an hour after getting home :)
No one commented that time though, I guess I was sitting down mostly, and I didn't have a very big bump. I had a glass of wine defiantly too :)

Weird, isn't it? I was told I was "brave" for being out at 39 weeks by two different women yesterday. I really don't fancy the idea of house arrest...

Septbaby you could totally do Download next year with baby in a sling. We are hoping to do Download and/or Glastonbury next year :-)

I'm nearly 39 weeks and a few weeks ago I got hit on at the bar. Bump isn't massive but...really. Haha.
At about 34 weeks was out with friends, most of who were drinking but I was only out to be sociable til 10, drinking mocktails, and we overheard some older ladies at the next table bitching about me. They kept glaring at me and tutting!

Oh, and, one more!! I did a charity night hike at 39 weeks, through the woods at night (with hundreds of people, only 4 or 5 K, and not very fast) - I was secretly hoping it would send me into labour but it didn't!

south and septbaby, next year my in laws are taking baby for the weekend. I am sure I read on the rules that kids had to be over 5 to get in the arena. I was fine with regards to the toilet... always had anti bac and wipes with me. however my energy levels sucked and could only stand for so long. But I was sensible and stayed out of the pits!!! Septbaby I went to see Hell and it was awesome! Went up onto the balcony area initially but preferred being downstairs at the back. Was absolutely fine - although wasn't worried. Haven't been to bed with my ears still ringing for quiite a while.

Mine might out me Confused

Our with work on a pub crawl circa 30weeks. Last of the group into a late bar and I got I.d'd (26yo!).Didnt have any on me, I said that I was well over the age of 18, gave my date of birth, pointed to the bump and said "im heavily pregnant - im.on soft drinks anyways!" To which the bouncer said "well then love, you shouldnt be out in town, you should be at home resting". I saw red, flagged a cab, paid the £10 return journey home ti collect.my drivers license and showed it to the bouncer who duly stepped aside and let me in.

Arse that he was.
