This morning I suddenly got really hot, my ears started ringing and I felt like I was going to collapse.

When I sat down I felt ok.

This has happened a few times through my pregnancy, I ended up actually collapsing once and going to a & e and they said they wasn't sure why.

Anyone else had this is it normal? Shall I call midwife? I feel like they just usually brush things off anyway. But not sure why it keeps happening.

It's probably just low BP. It is relatively common in pregnacy particularly with people who have lowish BP anyway. It is worse if you have low iron. Go to your midwife and have it checked out if you haven't already.
Nothing they can do if your iron levels are fine and you don't need iron tablets. You might feel shit but they just say 'oh at least you don't have high bp'.
I had to avoid standing up too quickly or for too long. Eating regularly as low blood sugar made it worse, drinkingk loads of water and making sure I didn't get too hot.

How far are you?

I had this a lot and badly at about 24 weeks. I fainted in the chair at the hairdressers and ended up with a huge lump chopped out of my fringe Grin It was anemia. Still pretty anemic now but iron tablets have helped.

I had this in the first few months- I was standing up at a work talk and had to leave as I knew I was going to faint. It resolved itself once I sat down. I looked it up on the Internet and concluded it was normal. I would never give anyone medical advice as I'm not a medic and don't know your specific circumstances but all I can say is I had an uncomplicated pregnancy and now have a bouncing baby boy! Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy :-)

I actually discussed this with my midwife yesterday. She explaibed it was due to low bp. Recommend that if I feel faint or dizzy to sit down and have something to drink. Also recommend ed that if go anywhere hot or crowded to have someone with me incase I feel faint.

Hi ended up at doctors because it happens again whilst out food shopping, blood pressure is low and also they have also given me antibiotics for a urine infection :(
