panicking about labour!

after a trip to triage last night and hearing women screaming in labour I've suddenly gone into panic mode. I've done it before and I know I coped but this one is a particularly big baby and have been told it's high risk due to size. will be having senior midwife deliver which is slightly reassuring but my god I just remember the absolute unbearable pain of pushing baby out.

I'm being induced on Monday. ah! anybody else feel like this? I've gone from wanting to do anything to get baby out to hoping and praying it doesn't come today! Sad

I just had DC3 a few days ago. I was really petrified before labour, but once it got going I found all the fears went, my experience kicked in and it was fine. Painful of course but I was able to cope, be assertive and delivered him just fine. And you forget how the pain just goes instantaneously and you're just left with such joy at meeting your baby Grin

that's the problem though. I don't forget that pain. I never have and don't think I ever will!

You've been through it before, you know you can do it. Just deal with each step at a time, focus on the end result-your baby, each pain is bringing you one step nearer to meeting your baby. (I should take my own advice, I'm dreading no2 Smile)

Best of luck x
