Pre-Eclampsia - Should I be worried?

On Weds I found I went very dizzy and shaky at home and just had to sit down. Yesterday, I woke with a stinking headache and very achey kidneys. The headache went after an hour or two. Today I have a headache again since getting up and am currently having a big glass of cordial to see if that helps. I have had "floaters" in my eyes for as lojng as I can remember but no other P-E symptoms. Bit concerned about the number if headaches I seem to have had in the last few days - plus I noticed yesterday my fingers were more swollen than normal when I took my wedding rings off.

Any suggestions?

Phone your midwife - it might be nothing but better get it checked out :)

I'd phone the midwife too, better to be safe than sorry. Hope everything's ok

Phone midwife. PE not to be messed with so they need to establish if it is or not.

PLEASE, get yourself checked out as soon as you possibly can. My DSis had PE many years ago, you need to know so that you can get treatment if you need it. Please don't delay.

Have called my local triage unit. The MW was lovely - felt like I was pestering but she said not to be silly. They have said to take some paracetamol and apply a heatpack to my back and if the symptoms dont go to call them back this afternoon and theyll invite me in for a check up.

I had a consultant appt yday so was able to tell her that m BP was low and my urine was clear.

Hopefully itll pass.

Went over to Triage last night as headaches etc persisted. Baby and I were given a full check up. Due to an existing medical condition I was asked to return this morning to have my eyes examined. All fine and dandy. Have been experiencing kidney pains during this time so a scan is being arranged for Monday.
