Hi everyone!

I'm 6 weeks 4 days pregnant with my first baby! I've been having terrible cramps mainly during the night and it's making me worry. I mentioned it to the doctor when I was only 4 weeks and she didn't seem concerned.... I haven't had any bleeding but sometimes it's soooo painful.

I'm also struggling with constipation so not sure if that's what's causing the pains.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Ps...the most annoying thing is I haven't told anyone I'm expecting! Hubby is not enjoying my moaning

I had period style pains a lot for my first 6-7 weeks. No bleeding. I was absolutely fine and I'm sure you are too!

It is very likely that the cramps are due to your constipation. I had awful constipation and got fybogel on prescription which I took morning and night and had relief after a few days and felt so much better.

Thanks guys! That makes me feel better! It's just such a worry! My sisters first pregnancy- she told us at 8 weeks. She felt ill quite a lot and when she went for her first scan there was no heartbeat. It was awful. (She went on to have a beautiful boy a year later who is now 2 and a half) So I really want to wait until we have a scan before we tell anyone. But that's soooooooo long to wait, I haven't even met the midwife yet!
