Breech baby

Hi,

34+4 and my baby is still in the breech position. The midwife says they don't worry about positioning until 36 weeks but did explain the ECV proceedure to me this week.

What are the chances of him/her moving round in time? Also, has anyone ever had an ECV before? Is it worth having one?

DD1 moved the night before I went in for a scan to re-check her position at 36 weeks Smile there's still time.

Wait and see and ask for a scan at 36 weeks - but apparently a lot do --my breech baby did not turn but I didn't try ECV (too scared after reading a few associated still birth stories - but the drs where saying they thought it was safe) but even the day of my planned c-section because he was breech they scanned me and said they would send me home for a natural birth if he had. So they do tend to believe they can turn right up to the last minute.

Also was it a scan or a mw telling you baby was breech. I am not a great believer in the mw magic hands as I was told baby was engaged then had a scan half an hour later which diagnosed breech!
