I'm dress size 32 (about 25st) with a big tummy. Very worried they won't be able to find the baby or something. Is there anyone out there with experience of being pregnant and being a plus size mum to be like me?

I'm a size 22 and tbh I was panicing about scans but they have been fine a tad fuzzy but fine at 12 week scan they had to do an internal one I've thankfully not put on too much weight I was even warned that a 4d scan wouldn't work due to being plus size but was perfect baby just didn't want to know! My friend was a size 32 whilst pregnant with her son and she was fine scanned ok

Hi I am a size 22-24 and had my dating scan on Monday. Apart from the sonographer pressing down very hard, she was able to find a fantastic few pics and we have them now!

She did say that due to my BMI it might be hard, but I replied, I can't do anything about that now! Silly!!

Good Luck for your scan! xx
