I am 39 weeks and seem to have a abscess/boil on my bum, which can be very uncomfortable. Everything I have read on the net seems to suggest that a surgical procedure will be required but I'm worried about 1 if any of this is safe during pregnancy and 2 what happens if I go into labour.
I seemed to have 2 one on each side, both where quiet small, 1 has since gone down but the other seems to have grown. I have applied a hot flannel as it states this may help and have applied sudocream as it just eases that irritation.
Has anyone else had these who can give a little advice?

Can you hover your bum into a bowl of very warm water? This may help it to pop on its own.

Thanks, the hot flannel seems to have worked as it seems to have popped so will just see how it heals now x

If not they might be able to freeze it off in surgery (it's a minor surgical procedure using liquid nitrogen) can't imagine it not being safe in pregnancy
