Obstetrics Appointment tomorrow

Hi All,

Im currently 33+3 and have an Obstetrics appointment tomorrow. I was sent down the shared care route at my booking appointment due to an existing medical condition I have. I saw my Obs consultant at around 12 weeks and he said he didn't think my medical condition would be any problem so book an appointment for the 32 week mark so he can just check all is well. All has been fine and tbh, it seems a bit daft going in sme ways.

Just wondered, will he examine me like the midwife does (palpate my tummy etc) or just be like a GP appointment?

I've seen two obstiatricians. One just chatted to me, the other felt my tummy and listened to baby. Guess it just depends!

Mine always does the basic MW checks and takes notes. Nothing scary, just measures/palpates and listens to the HB if I ask.

Im hoping he does palpate as I want to know if our LO has turned yet! lol At my last check with the mw at 31 weeks, baby was head down and brim but B2B . I think baby has now moved round to anterior and perhaps has started to engage as I can now feel my bump on my thighs when Im sat down and someone did comment it seems lower. We shall see.
