Hello
I am only 8 weeks pregnant but since I was 5 weeks I have been unable to keep good down and have all day sickness not just morning.
Is there anything that could help me?
And could this be an early sign of twins?

It might be, it might not - sadly lots of women get morning sickness no matter how many babies they are having!

If you are losing weight, struggling to keep liquids down or just feel this is completely affecting your life (say taking time off work) there is medication which is readily prescribed to pregnant women. I took it from about 7w to the day DD was born! So it could be worth a chat to your GP?

There's also a hyperemesis thread on here full of lovely ladies who can help.

I had twins and had no morning sickness whatsoever. There isn't a link that I know of.

I certainly felt worse this time round during the first 12 weeks and am pregnant with twins but then my friend who has just had a baby girl was really sick to begin with compared to when she had her son.

Only way to find out is a scan.

Another who had twins and no morning sickness whatsoever.

I find anti sickness tablets make me vom. I had some post egg collection (ivf) and was so sick. They then gave me some during labour and I tried to convince them that they really didn't help. Only times I vomited in labour were just after those awful tablets. The mw believed me after the second lot!

Feeling sick is really rough and does impact on everything, I hope it passes quickly for you.

Go back and ask for different tablets. There are various different types of anti-emetics and some will suit you better than others - it was the second ones I tried that worked for me.
