If you went overdue with your first, did you also with your second?

My first was induced at 41+6 and I'm kind of expecting the same to happen this time. However, I'm due in December and going overdue means a closer to Christmas birthday which I would be keen to avoid but obviously have zero control over.

Also if you had to be induced the first time, did you also the second?

Ooh I'm interested in this too op. Dd was term+8 and to be honest I can see me going over again with this one but we'll see.

I'm only on dc 1 but my mum had 3 of us, dd1 7 days late, me almost 3 weeks late and dd3 10 days late. Unfortunately baby will come out when it's cooked. I'm having a little conflict as if I go a week late, DD will be born on Halloween!!!!

DS1 was 9 days late, DS2 2 days late and DD 11 days late.

Also a good friend had to be induced for all three of her children!

DD2 - 4 hours late
DD3 - 1.5 hours late

Me - 14 days late
Sibling 1 - 8 days late
Sibling 2 - 6 days early

Not for me but I went into spontaneous labour with dc1 so I don't know if this is where the difference lies.

Dc1 10 days late

Dc2 10 days early.

DC1 42 weeks, induced. DC2 5 mins late (5 past midnight so just missed his due date).

I was totally unprepared as I was expecting to be induced again!

dc1 - 42+2
dc2 - 39 - because induced for medical reasons
dc3 - 41 + 3 weeks

with dc3, I got induced as soon as they would let me as I knew she would be late.

DC1 41+6 induced
DC2 due today, will wait and see

DC1 40+10
DC2 40+9

Not induced either time

Dc 1 was term thanks to Caster Oil
Dc 2 was a week over due and was induced via waters been broken
Dc 3 was a week over due but managed to come naturally thanks to 2 sweeps

I'm expecting to go over due with this one and have my waters broken as they have never gone on their own, slightly disappointed about that.

All my 4 were late ranging from 6-10 days.

Not induced, but +8 by my dates all three times.

All of mine were 14 days later and I started on my own every time on the day before I was to be induced

I am only expecting DC1, but my Mum had (apparently):

DC1 - two weeks late
Me - 4 weeks early
DC3 - bang on time

Both of mine were 5 days late.

Plus both born on a tuesday night and had the same birth weight.

40+6 then 38+4 and dd2 was bigger than dd1

DD1 - 10 days late (induced)
DD2 - 5 days late, homebirth

Expecting DC3 at present.

Generally I was told they get longer/later each time.

I had to be induced at 42+ weeks with both of mine.

Mine were
dc1- 1week late
dc2- 3 days late

Yes late with both. I always thought the hospital dates were wrong. Both were re dated at scan due to length of leg bones - my dh is v tall.
