Have just peeled off maternity trousers and top and found an old stretchy summer dress. What are other people wearing?

Maternity maxi dresses, or shorter, flowy dresses with dreaded leggings underneath to keep some dignity in the breeze.
I'm not a shorts person. So either those dresses or jeans, with cooler tops and sandles.

Leggings and tunics (for respectable times), or cropped maternity jeans and over size t-shirts for casual. Or vest PJ sets round the house.

Baggy beach dress and birkenstocks.(with underwear)

TheBookofRuth · 22/06/2014 17:43

Loose fitting dresses or floaty skirts with vest tops. Most of it isn't maternity wear, just normal clothes in a bigger size/stretchy fabric.

I started a thread with an almost identical title yesterday- should come up if you do a search ........ lots of helpful responses there

Floaty cotton sun dresses, not maternity so stretched to their limits at 39 wks Grin

And I just went and bought a pair of size 24 cotton shorts and a swimming cover dress which is slightly sheer from Asda as I couldn't find maternity stuff that didn't involve stretchy sweaty lycra.

In the house at night i'm just doing the long H&M vest top and pants.

I am not a slim person even without bump.

So generally looking good

At home I'm mostly just in bra and pants! Can't stand any clothes on me.

Out and about I'm wearing maxi skirts and vests, or jeans and a vest. Bit boring but at 40 weeks I could not care less.

WhoMovedMyVuvuzela · 23/06/2014 09:56

Maxi dresses. Also some very old slightly too big (and therefore really comfortable) cut off jeans with a vest top or floaty tunic top...also a bit big for size. I can't stand anything even vaguely tight anymore.

ElleDubloo · 23/06/2014 11:22

Long floaty skirts and loose cotton tops (non-maternity). If I'm at home by myself then I don't care what I look like. If I'm going out I might wear a maternity dress.

MojitoCake · 23/06/2014 11:40

I seem to have developed a uniform of leggings and a tight t-shirt at home, any dress from ASOS or topshop maternity (seriously worth a look as they are very flattering) for things such as shopping or lunch with friends and maxi dresses for everything else. I'm on maternity leave and have no idea what I'd wear to work in this heat! I've given up with any form of night wear and just sleep in knickers and a bra.

liquidstatehasrisenagain · 23/06/2014 12:47

Giant knickers and a long vest top mostly. Am not venturing out much!

Far too hot.
