Babies hair colour

Anyone know what hair colour a baby will have if their mum has red hair and their dad has medium brown?

Green and pink stripes.

My hair is reddish / auburn and my DH has medium brown hair. One child has blonde hair, the other has black hair, so I'm not much help I'm afraid!!

sorry no. Think it depends on many things like grandparents etc. plus can be one colour at birth and change?

Hunkermunker..Blimey I think it would be a shock if the baby was born with green and pink stripes...but certainly different!!
Auntymandy...Just curious really as was just wondering what colour hair my baby might have!

ive got red hair and dp got brown hair and our DD (23m) is blonde with abit of red in it (very light strawberry blonde???)

i was very blonde when i was a toddler till i left school and went red and dp was blonde as a toddler too. Dp's DD is very blonde and her mum got jet black hair - his dd's colour was taken after her mums brother as hes very blonde too! - i know its strange!!

I think it'd be fab if babies were born with stripey hair in mad colours

It's weird as I know couples - one with brown hair and one with red hair - and some have children with red hair and others have children with dark hair. Weird!! My mum has blonde hair and my dad brown hair whereas myself and one of my sisters have red hair and my other sister blonde hair!!

I know one couple, both dark, whose children are red, fair, red and very dark.

My brother is fair, his wife is chestnut and their kids are chestnut, fair, red and red.

DH and I are both mouse to fair and our 4 kids are all degrees of mousey fair.

So you really can't predict it!

It's weird as when it comes to red hair, it doesn't seem to follow any sort of pattern! Guess I will just have to wait and see!! Thanks for all of your comments though!
