I still have two wisdom teeth in my left side. And since two days they hurt and I have pressure going into my head... Has any got their teeth pulled while pregnant..

The thing is that now we still have insurance but once the baby is born my husband will go on parental leave and we will have no insurance and dental work is very expensive where I live

So I want to do it now while we still have insurance..

So far the pregnancy is going really good but I sometimes deal with heart palpitation.. And my blood pressure is usually around 100/60

I had a tooth pulled at 5 months pregnant. I have a real dentist phobia but was in terrible pain.

I was very worried about it as I was so stressed but it was all over quite quickly and it was a relief to be rid of the pain.

Hope you get it sorted. Toothache is awful.

I don't think they will remove it. To pull a wisdom tooth, they usually take x-rays to see how it is positioned in the jaw. And as x-rays aren't good for the baby, they won't be able to do them to see what they are dealing with.

Not even if my dentist has an x ray on file from 4 years ago? That is when I got the right side pulled..

I guess the best thing is I have to contact them and ask.. Also speak with my doctor and ask her what she thinks because of the palpitation

They have a lead shield (I'm pretty sure that's what it's made of) to to put on you while they do the x-Ray to protect both of you from the radiation. Don't be in a pain unnecessarily - make an appointment and get it sorted!

Are you in the UK and allowed to access the NHS? If so, you can apply for your medical exemption card. Free dental care and prescriptions while you're pregnant and until your child is 1.

I need two teeth out but the dentist won't do it without new X-rays ( which she doesn't want to do ) I only had done done months before becoming pregnant and she won't use them. They've been infected most of the pregnancy and I've had to have three lots of antibiotics because of them
