See a chiropractor. I had an awful time with that last pregnancy and other than a million pillows nothing helped. This time when it reared it's ugly head again at 17 weeks someone suggested a chiropractor and it's sorted. It's not cheap mind as you can't get it on the Nhs but to be able to walk it's well worth it.

I second that. I too am seeing a chiropractor. I'm only 18 weeks at the moment and am fully aware it may get worse but it seems to be ok at the moment. My last pregnancy I was in agony and on crutches so hoping to stay more mobile this time. Good luck Smile How may weeks are you?

I'll speak to my DH see if we can stretch to it. I'm 34 weeks so only got to suffer for 6-8 weeks. It's my 3rd pregnancy & I never suffered before. I've been struggling on & off for about the last ten weeks but had no idea what it was. Sleeping is becoming impossible, is there anything that makes still easier? We just bought a new more supportive mattress to help but It's not made much difference.

Pillows under and around was the only thing that made sleep easier. I only had 6 chiro sessions to deal with it and will go back after birth for a couple so not too bad, unfortunately it could get worse as you get bigger.

My other tip is not to have stirrups when you give birth as that could cause further damage. Good luck.

I'll try to remember that about stirrups as I'd used them in last pregnancy to push & was considering them again.
